The Pembroke Corgi was developed and perfected in the 12th century around Pembrokeshire and the Cardigan Corgi around Cardiganshire which are 2 neighbouring counties in Wales. Every child should have two things: a Corgi, and a mother willing to let him have one.    Important Facts Dog Coat - Colours are red, sable, black/tan, fawn with white on the chest, neck and legs.  Cardigans can also be brindle or merle with white.  The dog coat is straight, dense and medium length which makes dog grooming a snap. Dog Height - 25-30cm (10"-12"). Dog Temperament - Very loving, intelligent, faithful, good with children and other dogs, and have an independent streak.  Do I sound biased??
